Author Guidelines

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

1. Submission Process:

  • Article submissions should be made through the journal's online submission system by clicking the "Make a Submission" button on the journal website.
  • Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their manuscript within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscript in response to comments and recommendations provided by the reviewers.
  • A separate cover letter must be submitted, briefly outlining the article title, author(s)' details, the significance of the research, and a declaration confirming that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere for publication.
  • If submission through the journal's online submission system is not possible, the manuscript, cover letter, and all required supporting documents may be submitted via email to ejjmmc@eduresearchpublication.com.

2. Peer Review Process:

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
  • Manuscripts will be reviewed by experts in the field.

3. Copyright:

  • Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions to reproduce any copyrighted material included in their manuscript.
  • Proper acknowledgment and attribution must be provided for all copyrighted material and cited sources.

4. Ethics:

  • Authors must ensure that their research has been conducted ethically and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Authors must ensure that their manuscript is original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication.
  • Any actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

1. Manuscript Preparation:

  • The total length of the manuscript, including references, should not exceed 15–17 pages.
  • Manuscripts should not exceed 5,000 words, including references and appendices.
  • Shorter submissions, such as case notes or book reviews, should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words.
  • Include an abstract of 150–250 words that summarizes the objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the manuscript.
  • The use of footnotes should be avoided.

2. Manuscript Structure:

  • Title: Title of the article, followed by the full name(s) and designation(s) of the author(s).
  • Abstract: An abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the study.
  • Keywords: Include 5–8 keywords immediately after the abstract.
  • Introduction: Provide the background and objectives of the study.
  • Literature Review: Summarize the relevant literature.
  • Methodology: Describe the research design and methods used.
  • Results: Present the findings of the study.
  • Discussion: Interpret the findings and discuss their implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest directions for future research.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

1. Introduction

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing and submitting the final version of your manuscript. These guidelines provide instructions on formatting, including fonts, spacing, margins, and other layout requirements.

Authors are advised to read these instructions carefully and ensure that the manuscript is prepared in accordance with the journal's Article Template, which can be downloaded from the journal's website.

2. Formatting your Paper

  • All text, tables, figures, illustrations, and charts must be placed within the prescribed page margins.
  • Do not place any content outside the specified margin boundaries.
  • Set the page margins to 1.57 cm (left), 1.75 cm (right), 0.96 cm (top), and 2.00 cm (bottom).
  • The page orientation for the entire manuscript should be Portrait.
  • Set paragraph spacing to 0 pt before and after each paragraph, and use single line spacing throughout the manuscript. 

3. Main Title

  • Use 16-point Times New Roman font for the main title on the first page. The title should be bold and center-aligned.
  • Capitalize the first letter of all major words, including nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Do not capitalize articles, coordinating conjunctions, or prepositions unless they are the first word of the title (e.g., A Brief History of Anti-Colonial Movements in India).

4. Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

Author names are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Times New Roman 11-point, non-boldface type.

4.1. Affiliations

Affiliations are to be centered, non-bold, and printed in 10-point Times New Roman.
For example:

First Author1, Second Author2and Third Author3

1designation, department, college/university, city, state, country
2designation, department, college/university, city, state, country
3designation, department, college/university, city, state, country

4.2. Corresponding Author

The corresponding author's name should be indicated with an asterisk (*).

5. Second and Following Pages

The second and subsequent pages should have a top margin of 0.96 cm and a bottom margin of 2.00 cm. The left and right margins should be 1.57 cm and 1.75 cm, respectively, on all pages.

6. Type-style and Fonts

Wherever Times New Roman is specified, authors should use the Times New Roman font. If Times New Roman is not available in your word processor, please use the closest available font that matches Times New Roman.

7. Main Text

  • Type the main text in 10-point Times New Roman font with single line spacing and a 1 cm paragraph indent.
  • Ensure that all paragraphs are indented by 1 cm.
  • The text should be fully justified, aligned evenly on both the left and right margins.
  • Do not insert additional blank lines between paragraphs.
  • Bulleted lists should have an indent of 0.5 cm.

7.1. Tables

  • Place tables as close as possible to the text they refer to and align them at the center.
  • Each table should be labeled as "Table" and assigned a consecutive number (e.g., Table 1. Sample Datasheet with Attributes in Linguistic Term).
  • The table label and caption/title should appear 9 pt font above the table.
  • Use a consistent font style and size throughout the table. 
  • Sources and notes below the table should be in 8-point font and left-aligned.
  • All tables should be center-aligned and presented in portrait orientation.

7.2. Figures

  • Photos, graphs, charts, and diagrams should be labeled as "Figure" (do not abbreviate) and numbered consecutively.
  • Figure captions should be left-aligned,  and formatted in 9-point Times New Roman font, placed above the figure.
  • Sources, if any, should be placed below the figure, formatted in 8-point font, and left-aligned.
  • Figures should be of high quality and suitable for publication.

8. First-order Headings

First-order headings (e.g., "I. INTRODUCTION") should be formatted in 12-point Times New Roman, bold, and left-aligned, with 6-point spacing before and after.

8.1. Second-order Headings (Sub-heading)

Subheadings (i.e., second- and third-level headings) should be formatted in 11-point Times New Roman, left-aligned, with 6-point spacing before and after. They may be numbered using Arabic numerals, such as 1.1, 1.1.1, and 1.1.2. For further details, please refer to the article submission template.

Appendix

An appendix, if needed, should appear before the acknowledgments.

Acknowledgments

These should be brief and placed at the end of the text before the references.

References
List only the bibliographical references that have made a significant contribution to the paper. If possible, limit the reference list to 30 entries and include only essential citations. References should be formatted according to APA style and arranged in alphabetical order. Use 9-point Times New Roman font, single line spacing, and full justification. The reference list should appear at the end of the manuscript. Ensure that each reference ends with a period (.). See the examples below.
