Author Guidelines

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

1. Submission Process:

  • Article submissions should be made through the journal's online submission system by clicking the "Make a Submission" button on the journal website.
  • Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their manuscript within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscript in response to comments and recommendations provided by the reviewers.
  • A separate cover letter must be submitted, briefly outlining the article title, author(s)' details, the significance of the research, and a declaration confirming that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere for publication.
  • If submission through the journal's online submission system is not possible, the manuscript, cover letter, and all required supporting documents may be submitted via email to ijilrs@eduresearchpublication.com.

2. Peer Review Process:

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by experts in the relevant field.
  • Based on the reviewers' comments, authors may be requested to revise and resubmit their manuscript for further evaluation.

3. Copyright:

  • Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions to reproduce any copyrighted material included in their manuscript.
  • Proper acknowledgment and attribution must be provided for all copyrighted material and cited sources. 

4. Ethics:

  • Authors must ensure that their research has been conducted ethically and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Authors must ensure that their manuscript is original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication.
  • Any actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

1. Manuscript Preparation:

  • The total length of the manuscript, including references, should not exceed 17 pages.
  • Manuscripts should not exceed 5,000 words, including references and appendices.
  • Shorter submissions, such as case notes or book reviews, should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words.
  • Include an abstract of 150–250 words that summarizes the objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the manuscript.
  • The use of footnotes should be avoided.

2.Manuscript Structure:

  • Title: Title of the article, followed by the full name(s) and designation(s) of the author(s).
  • Abstract: An abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the study.
  • Keywords: Include 5–8 keywords immediately after the abstract.
  • Introduction: Provide the background and objectives of the study.
  • Literature Review: Summarize the relevant literature.
  • Methodology: Describe the research design and methods used.
  • Results: Present the findings of the study.
  • Discussion: Interpret the findings and discuss their implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest directions for future research.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ARTICLE/MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

1. Introduction

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing and submitting the final version of your manuscript. These guidelines provide instructions on formatting, including fonts, spacing, margins, and other layout requirements.

Authors are advised to read these instructions carefully and ensure that the manuscript is prepared in accordance with the journal's Article Template, which can be downloaded from the journal's website.

2. Formatting your Paper

  • All printed material, including text, illustrations, and charts, must be kept within the margin parameters.
  • Please do not write or print outside of the column parameters.
  • The ideal margin size for all four edges should be 1 inch (2.54 cm).
  • Paper orientation in all pages should be in portrait style.
  • Paragraph spacing before and after should be 6 pt, and line spacing should be single.                            

3. Main Title

  • Use 16-point Nirmala UI font for the main title on the first page. The title should be bold and center-aligned.
  • Capitalize the first letter of all major words, including nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Do not capitalize articles, coordinating conjunctions, or prepositions unless they are the first word of the title (e.g., A Brief History of Anti-Colonial Movements in India).

4. Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
Author names are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Times New Roman 11-point, non-boldface type.

4.1. Affiliations

Affiliations are to be centered, non-bold, and printed in 10-point Times New Roman.
For example:

First Author1, Second Author2and Third Author3

1designation, department, college/university, city, state, country
2designation, department, college/university, city, state, country
3designation, department, college/university, city, state, country

4.2. Corresponding Author

The corresponding author's name should be indicated with an asterisk (*).

5. Abstract

For non-English manuscripts, an English translation of the abstract must be provided on the first page, positioned above the abstract in the original language.

6. Type-style and Fonts

Manuscripts should be set in the Nirmala UI Unicode font. If this font is unavailable in your word processor, please use any standard alternative Unicode font.

7. Main Text

  • Type your main text in 11-point Nirmala UI, single-spaced with an indent of 1.25 cm.
  • All paragraphs should be indented 1.25 cm.
  • Be sure your text is fully justified, flush left and flush right.
  • Please do not place any additional blank lines between paragraphs.
  • Bullets should have an indent of 0.5 cm.

7.1. Tables

  • Place tables as close as possible to the text they refer to and align them at the center.
  • Each table should be labeled as "Table" and assigned a consecutive number (e.g., Table 1. Table Caption).
  • Table labels and titles should appear above the table in 11-point font, while all sources and notes should be left-aligned directly below it in 11-point font. Maintain a consistent font style and size throughout the entire table.
  • All tables should be center-aligned and presented in portrait orientation.

7.2. Figures

All photos, graphs, charts, and diagrams must be labeled as 'Figure' (unabbreviated), numbered consecutively, and provided in high publication quality. Figure captions should be left-aligned in 11-point Nirmala UI and placed above the figure, while any sources should be left-aligned in 11-point font below the figure.

8. First-order Headings
For example, “1. Introduction”, should be Times New Roman 12-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one blank line after.

8.1. Second-order Headings (Sub-heading)
As in this heading, they should be Times New Roman 10-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one after.

Acknowledgments
These should be brief and placed at the end of the text before the references.

REFERENCES
List and number all bibliographical references that have important contribution on the paper, (if possible, limit to 30, which only are necessary citations are recommended). 11-point Nirmala UI, fully justified, single-spaced, at the end of your paper. Don’t forget to put period (.) at the end of each reference. (See examples)
